Website REMarketing

Marketing has changed. It used to be simply doing letter drops, emailing potential clients, faxing people and other avenues where you go and find clients. These days it’s about being found and providing exactly what the potential client is looking for. You need to not only look good but be informative, make their online experience easy and sound appealing.

Web Re-Marketing is a big part of the way marketing online works. Do you notice more and more the same adverts are following you around social media and Google? This strategy works wonders for your company and helps when we are working on a branding exercise to get your company name seen more and more.

Most people do not buy on the first visit

They have a look, get interrupted, and by dinner they have forgotten the name of your business. That is normal. Someone landing on your site, reading half a page and leaving does not mean they were not interested.

Remarketing is how you get a second go. Someone who read your pricing page on Tuesday sees your ad on Thursday while they are catching up on the news. They remember who you are, and they come back. That second visit converts far better than the first, because you are no longer a stranger.

Doing it without annoying people

There is a version of this that goes badly. Everyone has been followed around the internet by the same pair of shoes for a month. It is irritating, and it makes the brand behind it look desperate.

  • Frequency caps, so nobody sees the same ad fifteen times in a day.
  • Time limits, because someone who looked six weeks ago has usually moved on.
  • Different messages for different pages. A pricing-page visitor is much closer to buying than a blog reader.
  • Excluding people who have already bought or enquired.

Where the ads show up

Google’s display network, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, depending on where your customers spend their time. We build the audiences so your spend follows the people most likely to come back, instead of spraying it across everyone who ever loaded the home page.

It works best alongside a campaign already bringing new visitors in. See Google Ads management or PPC management, or talk to us about setting it up.
